10. EM Sermon Series

From August 2 through September 6 we will be following a new sermon series, “God Didn’t Say That.” This series will tackle some common popular Christian cliche statements that really are not in the Bible at all. Furthermore, even though well-meaning, misapplying these statements as promises from God can not only lead to disappointment with God but a breakdown of a person’s faith and trust in God. The purpose of this series is to understand what God did not say as well as to clearly understand and apply in our lives what God has said. If we are to “step out in faith” – our theme for this year – we can only do so as we put our faith and trust in who God really is and what he is really like.

EM Sunday Bible Study: Starting September 13 through December 13 from 11:30am -12:30pm at Room A10, we will study the Book of Galatians together using the OIA Bible study method, learning how the Apostle Paul defended salvation by grace through faith, reflecting on our Freedom in Christ and how we live in our Community among all the noises and challenges we experienced these days. The Soccer Camp Planning Committee wants to extend our deepest gratitude to the amazing team of over 20+ volunteers who dedicated their time, energy, and love to making this week’s soccer camp a tremendous success! Of the 23 campers who attended this year, 20 were not from Pacific Grace. Your selfless service, joyful spirits, and commitment to our campers have truly made a lasting impact.
